Bio

Tayler D. Bolton practices out of the Firm’s Delaware office, where she prosecutes corporate governance and fiduciary duty litigation. Recently, Ms. Bolton was a member of the litigation team that successfully secured a $180 million monetary recovery, along with the departures of six director defendants, in a derivative action against FirstEnergy Corporation. She was also a member of the team that garnered meaningful reforms which discourages founder-entrenchment and fosters compliant voting procedures on behalf of Palantir Technologies.

Ms. Bolton earned a Bachelor of Arts (Communication) and a Bachelor of Music (Voice) from the University of Oklahoma in 2014. In 2017, she received her Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law where she served as an editor of the Emory Corporate Governance and Accountability Review, served as the elected Conduct Court Justice of the Student Bar Association, received the Emory Woman of Excellence Award, and was inducted into the Order of Barristers.

Following graduation from law school, Ms. Bolton served as a foreign law clerk to the Honorable Hanan Melcer in the Supreme Court of the State of Israel and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Diane Clarke-Streett in the Superior Court of Delaware.

Ms. Bolton was recently recognized as a Super Lawyer 2023 “Rising Star.” She currently sits on the Board of Jewish Family Services of Delaware and is active in the Richard S. Rodney Inn of Court and the Multicultural Judges and Lawyers Section, where she received the Haile L. Alford Excellence Award.
