Saxena White is committed to giving back to the community through active involvement in charitable initiatives, pro bono legal services, and local outreach programs. By partnering with nonprofit organizations and supporting causes that promote justice, education, and equality, we strive to make a lasting impact on the communities we serve.
When Saxena White has the opportunity to give back to our community, we literally run with it. On March 4, 2023, in our hometown of Boca Raton, Florida, Saxena White participated in the Spirit of Giving Network’s Community Spirit Race 5K & 1 Mile benefitting a wide range of nonprofit organizations in our community. We were very pleased to have the opportunity to support such an important array of charitable initiatives alongside so many other members of our community.
The Spirit of Giving Network is a collaborative, nonprofit organization that creates alliances with other nonprofit organizations by sharing resources and providing education to strengthen our communities. For more information on the organization, please click here.
Continuing our support for Dress for Success, Saxena White has made it an annual tradition to sponsor a table at the Dress for Success “Style for Hope” Luncheon in West Palm Beach, Florida. Celebrated on International Women’s Day, the event is an inspiring afternoon of fellowship and empowerment while enjoying a luncheon and powerful guest speakers. Saxena White guests include other local women-in-business from South Florida.
Saxena White embraces environmentalism and believes in maximizing the care with which we treat our planet. We routinely volunteer at our local beaches in an effort to clean up the marine environment. Most recently, our San Diego office participated in a beach cleanup at in Solana Beach, California. We love giving back to our local communities and look forward to doing our part to keep all of our beaches clean!
The Saxena White Disaster Relief Fund was created in 2023 to support the relief and recovery efforts generated by natural disasters. Recently, the Fund donated to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund to support the relief and rebuilding efforts due to the devastating Texas floods, and to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation to assist them in providing essential equipment to their members battling devastating wildfires. In 2024, the Fund donated to CARE to support the Hurricane Helene response and to Americares to support the Hurricane Beryl response.
Sponsored by Saxena White, along with the Boston Bruins Alumni and the Bourque Family Foundation, the Annual Betty Cheevers Golf Tournament brings people together to support families in need during their most challenging times. Inspired by Betty Cheevers’ spirit of kindness and compassion, the tournament provides financial assistance to families facing illness, loss, and hardship.
During the holiday season, we are always looking for opportunities to give back. Saxena White is proud to continue our support of the annual Delray Beach Police Department Holiday Toy Drive. We’re happy to help our local heroes make the holiday season bright and joyful for the children of our community.
For the past few years, Saxena White has organized a backpack and school supply drive out of our New York office in support of Volunteers of America – Greater New York’s (VOA-GNY) Operation Backpack. VOA-GNY is an anti-poverty organization with a long history of serving neighbors in need. Their Operation Backpack program is a crucial tool in the fight to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty. Providing children experiencing homelessness with backpacks and school supplies goes a long way towards setting them up for success in the classroom and beyond.
Our New York office recently participated in the Tunnel to Towers Foundation’s 5K Run & Walk in New York City. The event symbolizes Firefighter Stephen Siller’s final footsteps from the Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers and pays homage to the firefighters, law enforcement officers, and civilians who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
Proceeds from the event support the Foundation’s programs, including those benefiting first responders and catastrophically injured service members.
