For 2023, Saxena White Director Thomas Curry has been named one of six national Securities “Rising Stars” – recognized for prosecuting high-stakes securities litigation across the country.

Honoring Mr. Curry’s career and accomplishments, Law360 noted his work as co-lead counsel to a FirstEnergy investor, the Employees Retirement System of the City of St. Louis, in a shareholder derivative litigation that arose from a bribery scandal involving the Ohio-based electric utility. The case resulted in a $180 million settlement marking the largest recovery in a derivative suit in Sixth Circuit history, earning him a spot among the Securities “Rising Stars”.
