Saxena White Again Earns National Recognition from Chambers USA as a Leading Plaintiffs’ Securities Litigation Practice

Saxena White Earns National Recognition from Chambers USA for the Fourth Year in a Row as a Leading Plaintiffs’ Securities Litigation Practice; Steven Singer Cited as a Notable Practitioner

Recognized for its “effective representation of institutional investors in securities fraud class actions, and expertise in shareholder litigation,” Saxena White is one of only a handful of firms ranked by Chambers USA 2024 in the Nationwide category for Securities: Litigation – Mainly Plaintiff. This marks the fourth year in a row that the Firm has been bestowed this honor.

Individually, Chambers also recognized Saxena White’s Steven Singer as a “Notable Practitioner” for his work in directing the Firm’s securities litigation practice.

The Chambers’ research team noted the Firm’s work as Lead Counsel in the Goldman Sachs Group Derivative Litigation shareholder derivative action, one of the more significant corporate governance and shareholder rights cases in recent history. The Saxena White team obtained a $79.5 million monetary recovery (believed to be the second largest derivative recovery in Second Circuit history) as well as important corporate governance reforms designed to improve Goldman Sachs’s compliance systems. The action was brought to hold company leaders accountable for oversight failures resulting in a massive foreign kickback scheme which seriously damaged Goldman Sachs, resulting in federal indictments of two senior bank executives as well as massive regulatory fines and penalties and serious reputational harm.
